One of the signature destinations in Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park is Bottle Creek. After a short portage from the parking lot to the put in you will be rewarded with almost complete solitude for a quiet paddle down the winding creek surrounded by trees that lean out over the water’s edge. As you come around a bend and peer into the distance, you take in the vast sky with shimmering sunlight and glowing clouds reflecting on the water.
