Fall is such a beautiful time of year to go out for a walk in the woods. This is especially true on a bright sunny day when the sunlight makes the yellow, orange and red leaves glow in a fiery canopy overhead. And underfoot you hear the snap, crackle and pop of the dry leaves that have already fallen as they give off that pleasant woody scent. It is a fleeting pleasure that lasts just a few weeks before the seasons change and the wait begins until next year.
