The sand dunes at the West Lake Sandbar in Sandbanks Provincial Park are the largest freshwater baymouth barrier dune system in the world. The dunes are a magnificent sight with their wind-carved edges enhanced with sunlight and shadows and the trees silhouetted against the sky.
